England coach Eddie Jones has warned the typhoon may have a major disruption over the World Cup in Japan, but says he’s contingency plans in place to take care of it.
Typhoon Faxai moved northwest on the Pacific towards Japan on Saturday, threatening to make landfall near Tokyo the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
England are due to leave on Sunday Japan and the season typhoon – packing winds of up to 180kph – will be expected to reach regions of the Kanto area between late Sunday and early Monday.
