A parliamentary inquiry into Bury’s fiscal meltdown and expulsion from the Football League will be set to take place this fall.

“The committee has therefore agreed that we’ll hold hearings in the autumn to take evidence relating to the catastrophe at Bury, and the use of the EFL and the FA in protecting the long-term interests of clubs. The committee will also inquire into what needs to be done to strengthen football Management rules in this regard.”
