CA:”I came along with him a few times when I had been playing in France and he is deceptively strong for his height.
“When he is captured, he usually manages to obtain an offload off to keep his team moving forward. I’m pleased to find the French putting some trust in him”
DC:”For me personally, Aaron Smith is possibly the ideal scrum-half in the world at the moment.
“He makes New Zealand sign with his tempo, enthusiasm and energy. He is the heartbeat of the side. He has the best pass on the planet rugby. It is totally fizzed by him despite getting little hands. It’s the perfect spiral every time.
“From the loose, he runs those support lines as well to create the additional man and help himself to a reasonable few tries.”
CA:”This pass is hot. What’s yours maybe not so tight Danny?”
DC:”He’s representing the little men on the planet rugby, but he rolls well above his weight.
“I love playing him and watching him perform. He is really feisty and enjoys getting stuck in. If South Africa would be to move all of the way, he’ll be pivotal.”
CA:”He is the biggest ball of energy I have come across in a while.
“In Sale, in gym sessions he’ll cartwheel inthrow a ball at someone’s mind, shed and perform 10 press-ups.
“He’s only constantly up and down, all day, non-stop. And he and exactly the exact same play. He’s just coming hurrying up into the line, shutting .
“He’s an entirely unusual nine and now we are extremely blessed to have him”
