Police say they have arrested 303 Lille supporters in Amsterdam as the French side take on Ajax.
Amsterdam police said that the fans were supposed of”disturbing public order, lighting off terror and violence” from town center.
Earlier on Tuesday afternoon, police tweeted that they were current at Strandvliet metro station”in which a massive group of football fans disrupted public order”.
They followed by conversing:”Approximately 100 Lille supporters arrested for disrupting public order, lighting fireworks and violence. Authorities are exploring further.”
That figure was updated using a statement to more than 300 soon after kick-off that said that the fans were being arrested throughout the city.
